Durex Originals

large · 56mm

The default condom, plain 56mm latex, stocked absolutely everywhere at around 50c a condom. We've measured this one ourselves, it's a true 56mm. There's nothing wrong with it and nothing exciting about it, so if condoms feel dull, this is the one you upgrade from, not to.

At 56mm nominal width this is roomier than standard, worth trying if 52 to 56mm condoms feel tight.

Common questions

What size is Durex Originals?

We measured it at 56mm nominal width — a touch wider than the 52–54mm most "standard" condoms use. Good if regular condoms feel slightly snug; measure your girth if you are unsure.

Are Durex Originals thin?

No — it is a standard-thickness latex condom. For more sensation at a similar price, Durex Thin Feel or a non-latex SKYN feels noticeably different.

Where can I buy Durex Originals in Australia?

Just about everywhere — Woolworths, Coles, Chemist Warehouse and most service stations, plus online. It is the most widely stocked condom in the country.
