Durex condoms
Durex is the condom most of us reach for first, the default on every supermarket and pharmacy shelf in the country. The range runs from the plain Originals to thinner options (Thin Feel, Invisible), a latex free one (Real Feel), plus textured and delay variants. We’ve measured each of them. Worth knowing, ‘Regular’ Durex sits around 56mm, a touch wider than many standard condoms, so if they’ve ever felt a fraction loose, that’s probably why. They’re reliable and they’re everywhere. If a Durex has ever felt boring or slightly off, it’s usually the model or the fit rather than the brand, and that’s an easy thing to sort.
Every Durex condom
Durex Thin Feel Regular Fit
latex · ultra-thin
$0.85/ea
Don't let the Regular Fit name fool you. At 52mm this is the narrow one, most of the Durex range sits at 56mm. If standard Durex feels loose or slips, this is the thin Durex that will actually stay put. If their other condoms already fit you well, the 56mm Invisible is the better thin pick.
52mm
Durex Performax Intense
latex · delay
$1.99/ea
Ribbed outside for your partner and delay lube inside for you, at 53mm. It's doing two jobs at once, so be sure you want both, numbing lube divides opinion and isn't worth it if lasting longer isn't your issue. Note the width too, it runs narrower than most Durex.
53mm
Durex Intense Next Gen Close fit
nitrile
$1.15/ea
The 53mm version of Durex's nitrile latex free condom. If you're latex free and standard 56mm widths feel loose, this is the fix, same material with 3mm less width. Very few latex free ranges offer a real width choice, this one does.
53mm
Durex Extra Time
latex · delay
$1.30/ea
Durex with a benzocaine lube that dulls sensation to help you last longer, at 53mm. Numbing isn't for everyone, so test it on yourself first and skip it if benzocaine products have irritated you before. It also runs narrower than most Durex, which sit at 56mm.
53mm
Durex Bubblegum
latex · flavoured
$7.66/ea
Bubblegum flavoured Durex at a standard 56mm, made with oral in mind. At over $7 a condom in the 3 pack it's the dearest way to buy flavour in Australia, so treat it as a one off rather than a habit. If you want flavour regularly, bulk flavoured boxes cost a fraction of this.
56mm
Durex Prolong
latex · delay
$1.43/ea
Ribs, dots, a thin wall and a lube meant to slow you down, all on one 56mm condom. It's Durex trying to do everything at once, and if you want longer plus texture in a single wrapper it's the only one of theirs that does both. If the delay lube is all you're after, Extra Time does that for less.
56mm
Durex Invisible Regular Fit
latex · ultra-thin
$1.05/ea
Durex's thinnest line at their standard 56mm. Pick it when you want more feel than Originals or Thin Feel give you and the fit already works for you. If it pinches, the Wide Fit version adds a millimetre where it counts.
56mm
Durex Intense Next Gen
nitrile
$1.15/ea
Durex's latex free condom in nitrile rather than the usual polyisoprene, at a standard 56mm. It protects to exactly the same standard as latex, so if latex irritates you nothing is lost by switching. It also comes in close fit and XL widths if 56mm isn't your size.
56mm
Durex Ribbed and Dotted
latex · dotted
$0.42/ea
Ribs and dots together on a standard 56mm, and in the 30 box it lands around 42c a condom, one of the cheapest textured options we track. If you're texture curious, this is the low cost way to find out whether it does anything for you. Standard Durex fit, so look elsewhere if 56mm isn't right for you.
56mm
Durex Real Feel
polyisoprene · ultra-thin
$1.43/ea
Durex's latex free polyisoprene condom at 56mm, made to feel warmer and more natural than latex. If SKYN's 53mm runs snug on you, this is the mainstream non latex option in a roomier width. It's stocked at Chemist Warehouse, so it's easy to actually find.
56mm
Durex Pleasure Me
latex · dotted
$1.50/ea
Dots and ribs on Durex's standard 56mm, stocked in supermarkets and chemists everywhere. If you want to try texture with a brand and fit you already know, this is the easy grab. Their Ribbed and Dotted 30 box does the same thing cheaper per condom once you know you like it.
56mm
Durex Originals
latex
$0.50/ea
The default condom, plain 56mm latex, stocked absolutely everywhere at around 50c a condom. We've measured this one ourselves, it's a true 56mm. There's nothing wrong with it and nothing exciting about it, so if condoms feel dull, this is the one you upgrade from, not to.
56mm
Durex Invisible
latex · ultra-thin
$1.45/ea
Durex's thinnest condom at their standard 56mm width. It's the one to reach for when Thin Feel isn't giving you enough sensation and you're happy to pay a bit more for it. If fit is your problem rather than feel, look at the Invisible Regular and Wide Fit versions instead.
56mm
Durex Thin Feel
latex · ultra-thin
$0.67/ea
Durex's mainstream thin, noticeably more feel than Originals at nearly the same price and the same easy availability. If you're a standard 56mm fit and want the simplest possible upgrade, this is it. The 30 box drops it to around 67c a condom.
56mm
Durex Invisible Wide Fit
latex · ultra-thin
$0.90/ea
The Invisible's thin wall with one extra millimetre of width at 57mm. A millimetre doesn't sound like much, but if regular Durex leaves a tight ring at the base you'll feel the difference. Same feel as the regular Invisible, just less squeeze.
57mm
Durex Intense Next Gen XL
nitrile
$1.15/ea
The widest latex free condom we track, 61mm nitrile. If you measure large and can't use latex, your options are genuinely scarce, and this is the roomiest of the few. Protection is the same standard as latex, the rubber is the only thing you give up.
61mm

How Durex compares
Durex spans 52mm to 61mm across 16 condoms. The market as a whole runs 46mm to 64mm.
That covers the standard, large and extra large bands. Nothing here is snug, so if that is your band, the brand cannot help and the size archive can.
Materials run to latex and nitrile and polyisoprene. Prices start at $0.42 per condom, which is below the $1.05 middle of everything we price.

Common questions about Durex
Are Durex condoms good?
They're reliable and meet the Australian standard, so you're in safe hands with the default. Whether they feel good is mostly about the model and fit. Originals are plain, Thin Feel and Invisible add sensation, and Real Feel is latex free.
What's the difference between Durex Thin Feel and Invisible?
Both are thin latex. Invisible is marketed as their thinnest and Thin Feel is a touch more robust. We list the measured thickness of each so you can compare the numbers rather than trust the label.
Where are Durex condoms made?
Durex is a global Reckitt brand, and stock sold here is generally made in Thailand or India. We note the country on each product where we've confirmed it.
